  More like a bed & breakfast than a hotel. You get the same kind of personal attention as at a B&B. We stayed in the Kasbah room, which was very good. Comfortable bed, nice shower, very quiet. Outstanding breakfast. Adelina and Thomas, along with their small staff, are just the best. Adelina recommended restaurants and made reservations for us, and suggested a stroll through the old city. We wish we could live there so we would be their neighbors! If you're looking for a place to stay in Altea, stop looking. You found it!

  I am currently staying at hotel abaco, and it's wonderful. If you are going anywhere near altea, stay here. The staff are great, the location is perfect, and the rooms are fantastic, the breakfast is outstanding. 10 out of 10. Would stay here again.

  Es un alojamiento fantástico, siempre vuelvo cada vez que visito Altea con mi pareja, para mi tiene todo lo que buscas en Altea cuando quieres escapar de tus hábitos de siempre y de la mediocridad. Ese encanto especial con el que te tratan, los detalles pequeños y grandes que están reflejados en todos los rincones y la naturalidad y belleza que encuentras en las habitaciones... me encanta esa mezcla entre Arte, Mar y casa Rústica que te habla de Altea en cada momento que pasas allí. Me gusta mucho este lugar, es verdaderamente especial.

  This is a REALLY great boutique hotel. Friendly and very helpful staff, beautiful building and great location in the best part of the old town. Close to everything but peaceful and quiet. Don't miss the roof terrace with a bottle of wine!

  This is our second visit to this very special boutique hotel in a great location in the old town of Altea. This is a family run hotel with a highly professional and attentive team who can't do enough to make you feel welcome and looked after including catering for special dietary needs. The hotel is quiet ,five minutes from the beach, shops and the Cathedral and beautiful old town. It has a small garage which needs to be booked ahead and is really only suitable for very small cars but it's a good facility to have. The older rooms are rather old fashioned and could really benefit from modernising, in the same style as the new rooms which are beautiful. That said, the large bed in one of the superior rooms was one of the most comfortable I have slept in in all our holidays in Spain. It is a very special place and we would highly recommend it and we will return. Thank you once again to all the team!
