  Friendly staff who mostly speak good English. Lovely clean spacious rooms. The 3 pools are always clean. 2 pools are shallow for kids and one deeper that was good for swimming. The food at breakfast and evening is delicious, so much to choose from and some cooked on request at the grill.

  Initially a problem on booking in as they said the restaurants were fully booked but they managed to find space.Booked a superior room with bath,was given a standard room without bath.This was changed but we were not offered help to move luggage some of which we had unpacked.Like most Spanish hotels there were no tea or coffee making facilities,why is this?.

  I booked two family rooms and a double for a special occasion. Apart from the restaurant Miramar being short staffed. Everything was superb. I have to thank the waitress Gwenola for her happy smiles and looking after us under a stressful situation. This lady was fantastic towards my family. I would stay again. I would also like to say, pool area very clean. Rooms excellent. My family loved it.

  Excellent overall. Our room was large, comfortable and quiet. Staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was excellent and we highly recommend the Japanese Restaurant Kitsume.

  The restaurant on both nights could not find a record that we had been booked in by reception which caused unnecessary delays.However the food in both restaurants was very good and the maitre d very helpful.

  There was no real entertainment despite this being Christmas,so no atmosphere.There was a pianist in the bar from 8-10pm but this was the same time the restaurants were open so the bar was empty.

  We were upgraded to a larger room once we agreed to buy breakfast at the hotel, which was a great deal. Furthermore, I would highly recommend the breakfast, it was superb! The hotel was comfortable, clean and bright. The staff were helpful and good humoured. The pools were spotlessly clean and had a lovely atmosphere. The clientele suited us perfectly. We were told at check in that Saturday would be a bit busier and possibly more noisy, but we were prepared for it and, actually, it wasn't too noisy at all. There were communion celebrations going on, but they were kept very much to one area and therefore easy to avoid. A very well managed hotel.

  We went in June and the hotel is mostly quiet Monday to Thursday which was very relaxing.

  Local town Altea is about 30 minutes walk if you can brave the heat or a 10 minute drive.
